Eventually, through nearly starving myself some days then binge eating others, I lost about a stone. I felt good 1 Stone lighter but had no system it was all or nothing for me and wasn’t healthy. Then Christmas 2019 came around, and by the end of January, the scales were going in the wrong direction again.
Over the 1st lockdown I gained at least a stone, then over the summer, I piled on another half a stone. My two good friends were doing Slimway with Bernie, and both had lost weight throughout lockdown. One day while having a tea date with my friends, they convinced me to go along with them the following Tuesday to their Slimway Class. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect but was willing to give it a go.
Thirteen weeks on I’ve earned my two and a half stone award. Slimway doesn’t give you any magic potions or hidden secrets but gives you the information, support and encouragement to make changes around better food decisions. I love my food and haven’t cut anything out. Still, I’m just extra mindful of what I’m eating, making healthier eating choices & have discovered my real appetite, not my false appetite even asking myself do I want something to eat or am I just bored. You can eat so much food on the Slimway Plan, and I love the structure and routine that the plan offers along with learning how to include my favourite treats, enjoying the best of both worlds. I feel great, and more importantly, I’m so
grateful to Slimway for their guidance in introducing to me, good healthy eating habits.
