Weight loss superstar Liz: Not alone did I lose 6 Stone in lockdown but also welcomed the arrival of my beautiful grandson. Becoming a grandmother was the most precious moment of my life; it’s just indescribable how much love and joy it brings to you and your family. The downside for me was, how am I going to have the energy & health to be able to cherish every moment, every milestone that our grandson was going to take us through and be there for him. Being very overweight for years and always struggling to achieve consistency in weight loss, I had almost reluctantly given up on ever achieving a healthy weight. Then lockdown came to our doors, and as it was a tough time for most, I promised myself that I would change my lifestyle around. Now that we have been blessed with our precious grandson, I needed a healthier body and mind & lose weight so I could be there for my grandson.
I tried numerous diets, shakes, starvations before you name it, I have done them but never had much success, but I struck gold! I was privileged and lucky to be asked to take part in a new pilot program ” Slimway online” & been at home because of lockdown gave me no excuses that I couldn’t engage. I immediately fell in love with the plan, being at home & not leaving the house made it even better. The plan was so easy I actually used to think I was doing something wrong, it made so much sense, common sense, three meals a day, and treats if needed, two food lists with lots of choices, and even colour coded so you couldn’t go wrong. The plan was thoroughly explained online not just by text but also by a fully explanatory video on the plan, which was straightforward and easy to follow and understand, I just flew through it. My weight came off consistently, and my new lifestyle became normal. It was just fabulous. I never realized how much I would love online. When I previously tried other plans online, it never worked for me. Now I’m 6 Stone lighter, on top of the world, enjoying my new lifestyle and best of all having good health to enjoy and participate in my grandson’s world.
